The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) - the leading specialist games educator and non-profit organisation - wants to help its graduates to achieve their dreams through the AIE Incubator Program.
The AIE Incubator Program supports development teams who have completed the Graduate Diploma in Management (Learning) with ongoing assistance and funding to successfully operate and grow their business through the development of games and other interactive digital content.
The Incubator Program is provided at no cost. AIE take no equity in companies created in the program and no royalties from or retain ownership of IP in the products that are developed.
AIE Incubator Grants Fund
AIE has announced the creation of the AIE Incubator Grants Fund which will award up to $1 million over the next 10 years for game development projects. These grants will support the development and commercialisation of games and other interactive digital content for participants of AIE’s Incubator Program for start-up studios. UPDATE: The first round of funding is now open for teams that are completing the Graduate Diploma in 2022 and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 31st December 2023.
